Karl Buckl started playing golf at the age of 9, and became
quite proficient, being part of the winning team of the 1983
Bavarian Youth Team Championship.
Years later, in 2002, he entered the education program with
the DGV (German Golf Association) to become qualified as a
C-grade teacher. From there, he developed and ran the youth
training program at GC Stenz in Bavaria. In 2004, he earned
his GGTF Level III certification, and in 2007 became a WGTF
Level IV member.
He currently works as a teaching
professional at GC Stenz. In 2010 he founded the Academy of
Golf Auerbergland, where he stays busy teaching 7 days a
week.
