I was born in Zimbabwe and have
been involved in sport and coaching all my life. As a youngster,
I was very fortunate to be able to play a lot of golf and be
involved in a very successful junior development program. From
this program emerged some well-known and respected Zimbabwean
golfers such as Nicky Price, Mark McNulty, Tony Johnstone, and
David Leadbetter.
I worked in various careers
such as hospitality and farming, but the political situation
forced a career change. I was accepted into the South
African Golf Teachers Federation in 2002 and this was the
beginning of a new career path. I emigrated to Australia in
2004 and became a member of the AGTF.
During my first two years in
Australia I became the golf operations manager at The Cut
Golf Course, a stunning links-style course south of Perth. I
then moved to a hidden gem called Whaleback Golf Course in
Perth. My teaching business is called Golf Concepts and I
believe in a holistic approach to helping all golfers attain
their goals.
