USGTF Level III, Bayshore, New York

After retiring from the health care field, I fulfilled my passion for golf
as a teacher of the game. I was certified 15 years ago and have taught
many juniors and adults in Long Island, New York.
My past experience includes employment at the Commack Golf Range,
Commack, New York, and Golf Etc. in East Northport, New York. Presently,
I am employed with Kemper Sports Management. I have instructed Special
Olympians as well as juniors, seniors, and all levels of golf students. Many
of my junior students have excelled in varsity and college golf programs.
I have also been a volunteer marshal at the US Opens at Shinnecock
Hills and Bethpage Black. From 1990-2002 I volunteered as a marshal
at the Long Island Senior Golf Classic. I have participated in various
fundraising charity outings, including the American Heart Association, the
Arthritis Foundation, and the Breast Cancer Coalition.
I will always fondly recall USGTF professional instructors Bob Wyatt,
Leslie Duke, and Mark Harman, who assisted me in attaining my dream
and aspiration to teach the game of golf. USGTF certification has given me
credibility and recognition that for so many years has been invaluable.
